Indiana Outdoor Ceremony | Ali + Jordan | Woodstock Club

Ali and Jordan’s Indiana outdoor ceremony at Woodstock Club was stunning. And I mean stunning. For so many reasons: it was an absolutely gorgeous Indiana day and Ali was breathtaking. But mostly, this wedding day was stunning because my goodness this couple is wonderful.

We loved every minute of this Indiana Outdoor Ceremony

We are so very thankful that we were asked to take Ali and Jodan’s wedding photos. Because from the moment we met this couple, they have been wonderful. They’re so sweet, gentle, thankful, joyful. They welcomed us into their celebration with open arms and allowed us to have the happiest day with their friends and family – who are also incredible. I’m always thankful for this job we get to do but it’s on days like these where I nearly have to pinch myself that I get to witness this much happiness. It really is an honor. Seeing Ali and Jordan tie the knot at such a beautiful Indiana outdoor ceremony was the sweetest reminder of how lucky we are to do this job. We love that we get to celebrate incredible couples and Ali and Jordan will forever be a couple we adore.

We took their photos at Newfields – and it was beautiful

Newfields is always the prettiest spot for photos. But I swear, this place really showed off in 2019. Every couple we took to Newfields was gifted with the most lush and beautiful scenery and the most perfect Indiana weather. Lindsay and Connor’s Newfields wedding photos are outrageously gorgeous. And Christina and Billy look like wedding magazine models at Newfields. Ali fell in love with our work when she saw Cali and Daniel’s wedding and wanted the same lush outdoor vibe for her own portraits. I think we absolutely nailed her vision and I know Ali agrees.

We love this couple and this family so much

Ali and Jordan received their photos just a week after their wedding, and their thankfulness was immediate. Starting with a text from Ali’s mom:

“I wanted to thank you so much for taking such beautiful pictures for Ali and Jordan’s wedding. They’re just stunning. I can’t stop looking at them and I can’t quit smiling. You have to be so happy! You captured Ali’s beautiful soul.”

The thankfulness continued:

“Everyone that’s seen Ali and Jordan’s wedding photos think they need to be entered into a contest and you would win.”

And from Ali herself:

“Sara!!! Thank you so, so much. We LOVE them!!!! You’re the best. Thank you!”

We are the luckiest to have this job

There’s nothing better than hearing excitement like this. Sometimes it’s hard for me to quantify what we do because it seems really frivolous to talk about linen selections, bridesmaid dress colors and uplighting all day. And we know that as years in a marriage pass, the wedding photos start to come off the wall and pictures of kids go up. But we also know that those wedding photos will be forever cherished. Candids of family members will be celebrated for years to come, photos of a bride and groom will be shared at their kids and then grandkids weddings. These pictures are forever and we just have to say “thank you” to every single person who has ever invited us into your lives to take these forever photos for you. We’re forever thankful.
