As Indianapolis wedding photographers, we are asked all the time what our favorite Indianapolis wedding venue is. Indianapolis is full of great venues. So it’s impossible to select just one venue that we love. Instead, we’ve put together a list of Indianapolis wedding venues based on style.

Outdoor Indianapolis Wedding Venues

Mustard Seed Gardens is an Indianapolis barn wedding venue. Their property has two lovely outdoor ceremony spots. And for a rustic reception, the wedding barn is great! Also, the pretty grounds and big trees are perfect for photos! Because of all this venue has to offer, Mustard Seed Gardens is one of our favorite venues.

Modern Indianapolis Wedding Venues

For the modern bride, one of our Indianapolis wedding venue picks is the Central Library. The Atrium is modern and bright. And because of that, the Central Library would be a beautiful home for your Indianapolis wedding. The Central Library also offers a lovely Indianapolis outdoor ceremony space. This pretty space feels like a little garden tucked in the middle of the city.

Newfields (formerly the IMA) is a great Indianapolis wedding venue option. This venue is a pretty pick for a modern bride. The Deer Zinc ballroom is full of windows and light. Newfields also offers two pretty outdoor ceremony locations.

Kiley and Bob. Oh my goodness their wedding day was beautiful, and rainy but forever memorable. Kiley was as cool as they come as weather changed plan after plan. Because no matter what changed in that day, her constant was Bob. Together they shared vows, took pictured in the middle of pouring rain on the circle, stormed downtown Indy with their bridal party when the rain went away and tore up the Crowne Plaza dance floor. Their wedding day was a happy celebration and we’re so thankful we got to capture it. Congrats to this incredible couple!

Over a decade ago, my best friend Mal and I started capturing Indy Bride’s and Grooms. We have loved every moment of celebrating the most wonderful couples and doing it together. Along the way, we’ve traveled to some beautiful cities to photograph gorgeous weddings. Among those places was Mexico – twice, actually. Each time was the time of our lives. But nothing will ever top our third trip to Mexico – Mal’s own wedding.

It was the greatest honor/happiest day maybe ever, to see my best friend get married to the best guy, and to capture it all. My heart swelled as I watched their blended family become one, watched Mal’s son be embraced by Garrett.

If you have been lucky enough to have Mal capture your wedding, you know that she has a way to make every bride feel beautiful, comfortable and excited. She has spent 10 years caring for others on their wedding days and after all the weddings she has captured, every first-dance she’s photographed, every time she watched a father see his baby girl as a bride for the very first time, she got to have her day. And it was truly the best day ever

Congrats to my forever best friend. I will never stop saying how happy I am for you.
